But cookbooks take up space, so I’m very intentional about the ones I keep. I only choose cookbooks I know I’ll use often, ones that bring beauty and joy into my kitchen. So when I saw Whisk Me Away by Michelle Wright from Proper Romance, I knew I had to have it!

Naturally, for my first recipes, I had to start with the Regency era because it holds such a special place in my heart. I picked a recipe from each section of a traditional Regency tea party and prepared a special lunch for my daughter, who has recently become fascinated with tea parties herself.

- Cream Cheese Fruit Dip—A delightful touch of sweetness.
- Sweet Tart Lemon Bars—A perfect balance of bright citrus and buttery goodness.
