A Little About Me

Let me introduce myself! I’m Kaitlyn—a stay-at-home mom to my sweet three-year-old daughter, Elizabeth, and wife to my husband, Zach. We’ve been married for six beautiful years, and we thrive on family time spent at home. I’m happiest when I’m curled up with a good book, a soft blanket, a flickering candle, and a cup of tea or coffee.

My love for reading started young. I can still remember how excited I was in elementary school to dive into a book after finishing my work. My reading journey started with classics like Pride and Prejudice, and today, I’m still captivated by stories that transport me to new worlds or let me fall in love with a different era. Today, my go-to genres are historical fiction, romance, and fantasy—bonus points if it’s all three! I’ll always read anything set in the Regency era, and Pride and Prejudice will forever be my favorite book. Jane Austen holds a special place in my heart, and her works inspire so much of my love for literature.

When I’m not reading, you’ll often find me baking, cooking, or working on a puzzle. I also love cozy video games and watching a great TV show or movie series. I’m a fan of all cozy hobbies and love to rotate between cross-stitching, crocheting, and any arts and crafts that catch my eye. There’s something so relaxing about creating something beautiful with my hands—it’s the perfect way to unwind and recharge.
